You can’t change the people around you, but you can change the people around you.
The power of choice.
The power of free will.
The power of realizing that you can blame anyone or anything in your life, as often and for as long as you wish, but that the power to receive and feel and experience better lies within you.
The power to draw the line, take a leap of faith, say no, end something, release something, start something, heal something, transcend or transform something…
The power to act in accordance with a belief – even just an inkling or a whisper of faith – that you could feel better, happier, more whole, more vibrant, in your own life…
The power to choose to move toward transformation and change, one right step at a time…
It’s all there, at that line, that YOU draw, where you say, ENOUGH.
I don’t know if I consider myself positive as much as I consider myself brave. And willing to do courageous things. Sometimes I don’t feel positive about it, but I fiercely believe that doing the stuff that’s hard, when you know it’s right for your Soul, and in the face of what society and family and whatever structures say is right/wrong, leads to less suffering and better living. It gets more positive in the end, I suppose. But sometimes it’s just about being fiercely honest and then brave. And being okay with sadness and fear while you’re doing it!
